Yr 2 Visit to Croome Court

Year 2 had a wonderful visit to Croome Court today, as part if their science topic on habitats. Across Croome Park there are a wealth of different habitats and the children were able to bring their learning to life by exploring some of the different habitats and finding out about the creatures and plants that live in them.

In history they have been learning about important local historical buildings, so it was a great opportunity to visit the house and learn about it’s significance in local history.

We had a lovely email from Croome Court after the visit:

“We had a delightful visit yesterday from Year 2. The children were wonderful asking all sorts of thought-provoking questions, some of which we could answer! They were a real credit to the school and it was a honour for me as a volunteer to guide the group around Croome Court. We look forward to many more visits from the school in the future.”

Thank you to Mrs Brennan for organising the trip and to Miss Arnold and Mrs Anderson for supporting the children’s learning during the trip.
