The third and final day at Alton Castle saw the children (and staff) engaging in more adventurous activities, including archery, trekking, survival and team building. The children had a wonderful time and before they left, were really pleased to be able to present staff with a cheque for £350, that the school Values Council raised during Lent, for the Diocesan youth charity, the Kenelm Youth Trust, which runs Alton Castle. This will help the charity to continue to offer subdised visits, as well as the outreach that they do.
A huge thank you to Miss Russell, Mrs Andrews and Miss Arnold for taking the class on this very memorable visit.
