As part of their history topic on World War II, Year 6 designed and made WWII-inspired dioramas. The topic brought together their knowledge of the period and their drawing skills, with the children using chalk to draw items from WWII scenes on black paper, cutting them out, creating a coloured background to display the cut-outs against, and making a concertina-frame within which to stick all of the elements. Once completed the dioramas gave a 3-D effect. The children were very proud of their completed artwork and Mrs Breakwell was very impressed. Well done Everyone!
