Last week two of our Year 6 pupils competed in the Mazak STEM final, in Worcester, having won an earlier round to qualify. There were twenty one teams, and great fun was had throughout the day.
The challenge involved using KNEX to design and build a device to move a box onto and off and three high shelf. The challenge involved a lot of teamwork and problem solving and the children were fantastic.
Afterwards there was an opportunity to look round the Mazak Tech Centre and see some of their tools in action.
Well done children and thank you to Mazak and STEM for this amazing event.
