In class this half term Year 6 have been learning about light, as part of their science curriculum. Their current class ‘Book as a Hook’ is Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. This week they enjoyed some fantastic cross curricular learning by writing their own short Harry Potter themed puppet plays, then applying their learning from their science lessons to making shadow puppets with which to perform their plays.
