Last week our Primary STEM Challenge finalists visited Mazak, in Worcester, to compete against the other eighteen finalists from around the county. They were tasked with designing and making a movable bridge (8.5 by 19cm) using KNEX, string, elastic bands etc. The children came up with a fantastic design, but ran out of time to complete the making element. Nevertheless they had a fantastic morning, which also included a tour of the Mazak exhibition Centre, and some tasty refreshments.
