Last Friday we said goodbye to our Year 6 pupils. They have been an amazing group of children and we are so proud of their amazing achievements and of the wonderful, responsible pupils that they have become. They truly fulfil the School’s mission statement, ‘to grow in faith and love, to become great people who make a difference in our world’. They have made a huge difference to us over their time at the school, especially during their time in Year 6, where they have been kind and caring prefects and led our pupil voice councils with such maturity (School Council, Sports Council, Values Council, Eco Council, Arts Council, Change 4 Life Team).
They finished off their last week with a fantastic assembly that took us all on a walk down Memory Lane with them, where they shared their highlights from their seven years, from the day that Natasha and Seth got married in Reception Class, to their amazing performances at Number 8, in The Tempest. They entertained us for the last time, with wonderful dramas they had written themselves, with a range of their favourite songs that they learnt at Holy Redeemer, by playing pieces from their time in the School Band, and by reading their poems and prayers.
Thank you Year 6: You’ve been amazing! We will miss you a lot.
