Today Year 6 visited Pershore Abbey’s Christmas Wreath Festival. The children were met by the Abbey’s youth engagement officer, Sam Andrews, who took them on a tour of the wreaths on display (including the one that the class had worked together to make during their art lessons, on felting, this term).

There was a wonderful array of wreaths, made by lots of community groups, using a range of media, including crochet, recycled art, hand printing, and nature art. The children and staff were very impressed by the skills on display.

Thank you to the Abbey for putting on the festival, and for inviting us to take part.
