As part of their Take One Picture focus this half term, Year 6 have been working with Mrs Breakwell and Mrs Clay, applying their clay skills to making tiles of parts of this year’s picture, Henri Rousseau’s ‘Surprise’. Mrs Breakwell cut a copy of the picture into squares and gave each child one square each to focus on. The class then recreated a 3-D tile version of their part of the picture. Once they have dried and painted the tiles will all be brought together to recreate the complete picture, which will be on display at our Take One Picture exhibition on Tuesday 9th July 9am-10am-come along and take a look!
