As part of their science topic on space, Year 5 were today learning about the movement of the planets. They were amazed by some of the things they learnt, such as the fact that Neptune takes 60,190 Earth days (164.8 years) to orbit the Sun!

They used balloons to model the relative size, speed and orbits of the different planets around the Sun; what a great way to create some memorable learning!
