Year 5 had a fantastic first day at the Pioneer Centre-glorious blue skies, challenges to face and overcome, friends to share the fun with and lots of great activities! The children worked in three groups today, starting their rotations round the activities. Over the three days of their visit, they will take part in a range of activities across the three days: archery, high ropes, climbing, abseiling, crate stacking, zip wire, raft building, orienteering and team games, with a campfire evening after dinner tomorrow.

At the end of such a wonderful day, there was just time for a story and evening prayer, before settling down in preparation for more fun and games tomorrow.
