In Year 5 this week they have been looking at the difference between mass and weight, in their science lesson, as part of their topic on forces. The children had great hands-on experience measuring the mass and weight of different objects in both Newtons and Kilograms. They discovered that 1KG was roughly 10N. What a memorable learning experience!
