Year 4 enjoyed a fun afternoon of outdoor learning with Mrs Andrews. The children split into small groups and explored the Forest School area to find 31 species of plants, from foxtail barley to Japanese maple. They then researched the plants using ipads and made still still life sketches, using coloured pencils. They talked about the uses of each plant and how important it is to look after plants as part of Stewardship, then finished with a listening game.
Thank you Mrs Andrews for a memorable afternoon of learning.
