The Anglo-Saxons

Most Anglo-Saxons were farmers. They spent time farming for food. Some Anglo-Saxon’s were farmer warriors because there was lots of fighting and war. Please go on this link to find out about farmer warriors.

People who were rich owned lots of land and if poor people wanted land they worked on the rich people’s land and paid them with some of their harvest. These poor farmers sold, or bartered their crops to get other things that they needed. 

The Anglo Saxons were also great hunters.
