ROMANS Topic Thank you for all your super homework projects on The Romans. Please take a look at pictures of these at the exhibition we held in our class on Friday 24th May 2019 (You can find the link on our Summer term page) READING Please try to read a small amount each day and write this in your reading record. Remember that this will help you in your understanding of how authors use words to entertain and inform their readers. It will also help to give you more ideas for words and phrases that you can include in your own writing. Every time you bring your reading record into school and we see you have read, we will move you on the Reading Road. SPELLING
Please keep practising key words from the blue and purple word lists. Try to use some of the strategies that we have learnt in school to remember spelling of these words. A copy of these are included in your homework book, which you will bring home regularly.
Make sure you keep practising number bonds to 10 and 20, as well as times tables, for our weekly test (each Thursday). Thank you to all the children who completed their maths basic skills quizzes during half term.
A copy of times tables charts is available in your homework book and J2Blast is a fun way of practising times tables, arithmetic and spellings.
Here is a link to the J2E website (click on the logo), which can be accessed from home to support learning. Login information is now available in homework books.
