This term in their computing lessons Year 3 have been learning how to use the features of the Procreate app, on the ipads. They have explored the effects of different brushes, as well as how to add texture using the snow, flame, water and cloud effects. The class them applied their understanding of these features to producing very effective pictures of volcanoes erupting (linked to their geography topic on volcanoes and their History topic on the Ancient Romans). They found that the water effect was great for drawing larva, the snow effect was very effective for rocks, the flame effect worked well for fire spouting from the volcano and the cloud effect created great ash clouds.
