Year 3 Art: Perspective and 3D

In their art lessons this half term Year 3 have been working on drawing street scenes using 3D shape and perspective, inspired by the illustrations in Christina Balit’s book ‘Escape from Pompeii’. They used their observation skills brilliantly, to look at line and form and have shown great improvement. The class have also been looking at how Christina Balit uses to give a 3D effect, and applying this to their own drawings when working on adding clouds, pillars and cobblestone streets.

Well done Year 3, and Mrs Breakwell!
