In their outdoor learning session Year 2 helped to maintain the Forest School area by coppicing the hazel trees. They then used the cut hazel boughs, and other natural materials that they had gathered, to build hedgehog houses to keep hibernating hedgehogs cosy this winter. The children showed great stewardship in caring for the environment in this way, and also helped the school in completing one of our Live Simply Award action plan items. Well done Children and thank you.
