In their outdoor learning this week, Year 2 consolidated their 2D shape knowledge and understanding. After a recap on the important vocabulary and properties of the 2D shapes they had been learning about-especially the difference between regular and irregular versions of some of the shapes, they set off to scavenge for materials in the Forest School area, with which to make shapes. Once they had made a shape they had to tell the adults all about them and were then challenged to make other shapes. Well done Year 2!
