The final engagement for the choir in the Autumn Term took place on the last day, Friday 16th December, at 12.00pm. The choir was invited to lead the singing and perform carols at the Wychavon District Council Service held in the Pershore Council Chamber. The audience was made up of many local dignitaries including the Mayors of Pershore, Evesham and Droitwich, MPs Nigel Huddlestone and Teresa May, local councillors and of course, the chairman of the Wychavon District Council, Council Leader Cllr. Frances Smith.
The choir sang beautifully and were a credit to the school. Looking the part in their tidy uniforms and red jumpers or cardigans, many members of the council commented on how well they sang, particularly as all of it was from memory.
A fitting musical end to the term. Thank you choir!
