On World Book Day children and staff came to school dressed as a character from a book, and there were lots of fantastic costumes. It was a lot of fun guessing who everyone had come dressed as.

The day started with an assembly, by Mrs Hill, to introduce the National Year of Reading. During the day, alongside lots of great book-related fun, the children were given time to share the book they had chosen as their favourite and say why they would recommend it to others. This was a great way for everyone to discover new books to read, based on their classmates’ reviews, which was great as this gave everyone lots of ideas for booj will need to be handed out at the end of the day please
