Holy Redeemer had a fantastic day at the Summer Worcestershire Games Finals. We had qualified in four different events; swimming, Year 3/4 tennis, Year 5/6 tennis and Boccia. To qualify we had to win the South Worcestershire qualifying round in each sport. It was fantastic to be representing South Worcester in 4 different events!
The children had a wonderful day; meeting a top athlete, competing in sport and going round a Health and Well-being village.
The children were outstanding in their sporting endeavours and we took second place in all four events. It was amazing to see every child with a silver medal! This was our highest medal tally ever for a Worcestershire Games Final, 35 silver medals.
Well done to everyone involved, keep up all the hard work in lessons and clubs and a huge thank you to Mrs Annis and Mrs Porter for their inspirational teaching and coaching.
