Two teams from Years 5 and 6 had a wonderful day at the Worcestershire Games Finals in Bromsgrove. Every team has had to win the qualifying round to reach the finals, so the standard of sporting skill is always very high. It is a great achievement to make the finals in one sport so we were proud to be representing South Worcestershire in both hockey and athletics.
The athletics team ran, jumped and threw with great determination and finished in 4th place, just two points behind the bronze medalists.
The hockey team were outstanding and didn’t loose a game. They finished in first place taking the gold medals.
A massive well done to all the children involved and a special thanks to the children that ran between the athletics and hockey to support both teams.
