All the children in Key Stage 2 took part in a Winter sports day at Pershore Leisure Centre last Thursday. There were a range of indoor athletics events, including javelin, speed bounce, triple jump, running and many more. The Sports Council and Change 4 Life Leaders did a fantastic job of planning, organising, demonstrating and recording results, to make the event run so smoothly. A massive thanks to them for their fantastic leadership skills and hard work.
The results were close throughout and first position changed several times. In the end the Elephants were victorious and I’m sure their elephant mascot helped to encourage the team.
It was wonderful to see so many happy faces and see everyone encouraging one another. It was also a good victory for the teachers in the final relay race! Well done everyone and thank you to Mrs Annis and Mrs Porter for organising the event and for working so hard with the Sports Council and Change 4 Life Team to develop their leadership qualities, and with all of the children in their PE lessons and at clubs.
