On Wednesday Mr Turner came in to lead whole school prayer and liturgy on the theme of homelessness. He read from Matthew’s Gospel, where er learn about the importance of building our lives on the Word of God, just like the wise man who build his house on rock, then showed the children an animation of ‘The Three Little Pigs’, making links between the third pig building his house out of strong materials and our Catholic Social Teaching principal of dignity of work, and how the third pig helped the homeless pigs (Options for the Poor and Vulnerable).

Mr Turner talked to the children about how difficult life is for people without homes and how we can help by contributing to the Values Council fundraising, after half term, where they will raise money for the Maggs Day Centre in Worcester.
