Between now and the end of the World Cup, West Mercia Police will be conducting Operation Bow which is their force wide domestic abuse operation.
Operation Bow will also be supporting the national White Ribbon campaign and domestic abuse messaging during Op Stellar which is the national operation for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The key messages delivered to communities throughout the operation which will include a focus on:
- perpetrators and offenders
- support for victims/survivors
- bystanders and upstanders, which is encouraging people to speak up when they are aware of or know of domestic abuse or harassment.
