Are you ready to take part in the Premier League Wellbeing Stars challenge? Our wonderful School Council have signed us up to this exciting opportunity and your class reps will be giving each child a ‘Well-being Week’ form for you to complete over the Easter holidays. You can win certificates and other prizes too. The top prize (for 3 schools nationally) will be the Premier League football trophy being brought to their school!
The closing date for entries is Monday 19th April. When you complete your Well-being Week form please take a photograph of this and upload it to your Showbie account. We will gather all the entries and send these together. You can send your entry from home on the Premier League Primary Stars website which is via the link below. Please make sure you put our school name on your entry. You can find out more information on the website too including examples for acts of kindness that you might choose to do.
We have also chosen to participate in a competition, ‘Now We’re Talking with Art’ which links wellbeing and art together! Mindfulness colourings can help us to feel calmer, more relaxed and grow our creativity.
As part of an NHS campaign, they are asking residents within Herefordshire and Worcestershire to have a go at the mindfulness colouring sheets and send them in for a chance to have it displayed in the outdoor art trails being held across the county including Worcester City in May and Redditch in July. Can you be creative and add colour to the mindfulness colouring design? You can use crayons, felt pens, paints or collage!
If you would like a copy of the colouring page then the school council reps will be able to give you one. You will need to bring these into school after the Easter holidays or email a photograph of your art to whcnhs.communityengagement@nhs.net
