Thank you to everyone who supported the Values Council, and Fair Trade, by visiting the pop up shop on Friday after school, and thank you to our Year 5 councillors who manned the stall! They were highly organised and efficient and did a roaring trade! Thank you to Mrs Williams for supporting them in the setting up and running of this important venture, linked to our Catholic Social Teaching element of ‘Solidarity and the Common Good’, and ‘Dignity or Work & Rights of Workers’. In buying from the stall we have all helped to ensure that farmers in developing nations are paid a fair price for their produce.
