On Wednesday morning we were very lucky to receive a visit from the Upton Blues Festival outreach team. The whole school were treated to a wonderful assembly where they listened to Jason and Val perform some blues songs, learnt about the origins of the blues, and then learned to sing some call and response songs all together.

The musical morning continued with Years, 3 and 4 taking part in a song writing workshop in which they wrote their own blues songs-which were fantastic. Well done Years 3 and 4!
