What an amazing time was experienced by the pupils in Year 2! On Tuesday 9th February the class went to Symphony Hall in Birmingham for a singing workshop organised by Music Mark West Midlands and led by the international singing animateur Ula Weber. This famous Birmingham concert hall was filled with over 2000 primary school children from all over the Midlands and everyone enthusiastically took part in the singing exercises and fun songs that they had learnt that morning. Holy Redeemer had super seats on the stage right behind the conductor who managed to lead children not only in front of her but also behind her as well! In addition, all the pupils sang the two songs they had been learning in class – Holly the Hedgehog and Sherlock’s Sports Day. As usual, the pupils were a credit to the school with their excellent behaviour and focused singing.
