During their first week at Science Club KS1 enjoyed learning how to capture gas. We did this by looking at bubbles. We made our own bubbles using washing up liquid and water, then experimented with different ingredients to make the bubbles bigger and stronger. We used baking powder, glycerin and corn flour, which resulted in fantastic bubbles. Our challenge was to make a bubble inside a bubble. Finally, we made bubble prints with paint and blotting paper.
