In order to help raise money for the playground, the School Council are organising a school activities evening and sleepover!
Children from all classes are invited to come along for the activities and children from Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6) are able to stay on for a film and sleepover (breakfast included).
Activities on offer range from sports with Mrs Annis, to mindfulness and games with Miss Taylor, baking with Mrs Maclean and Mrs Elcocks, arts and crafts with Mrs Brennan and Miss Goode and an eco session with Mrs Sanders. During the evening there will also be time for snack and drinks.
After the activities children have gone home, those sleeping over will be able to get into their pyjamas, or onsies, and snuggle down for a film, before night prayer (led by Mrs Williams), and bedtime stories. The Year 1 and 6 classrooms will be cleared for sleeping and the PE mats will be put down to act as sleeping mats. The girls will sleep in the Year 6 classroom and the boys in Year 1. Those children who are sleeping over will need to bring a sleeping bag/duvet and a pillow, pjs/onsie, a change of clothing for the morning, and their toothbrush.
Staff will be on duty during the night, should the children need anything (Mrs Hall, Miss Taylor, Miss Thorley, Mrs Brennan and Miss Goode), with Mrs Sanders and Leah coming back in the morning to run the breakfast service!
