This week in pre-school it has all been about the little Gingerbread Man. After listening to the story the children have been making gingerbread, using ginger-scented play dough, using puppets to retell the story, sequencing the story, exploring prepositions (putting the Gingerbread Man ‘on the chair’, ‘under the bed’). counting gingerbread men and playing a ‘Run, Run as Fast as You Can’ game in PE. On Friday staff took advantage of the frosty morning to engage the children in some ice play.
