In Reception Class the children have very busy learning about shapes in their Maths lessons. They worked in groups to sort shapes and to used them to create their own pictures.

In RE the class went to church to carry out a treasure hunt. They found lots of different artefacts, such as the sanctuary lamp and font.

As part of the class topic on celebrations, the children found out that it was Kipper’s birthday, so they made a birthday cake and had a party with Pass-the-parcel, dancing and Simon Says.

For Remembrance Day the children made poppies and created their own poppy field in the school grounds.

In Understanding of the World Reception Class have been finding out about animals that hibernate. They worked in groups to sort a range of animals into those which do hibernate and those which don’t.
