As part of their learning, focussed on the nursery rhyme ‘Row, Row, Row Your Boat’, Reception Class walked down to the riverside to see if they could spot any boats. The river was very high, so sadly the boats had all moved, but it was a great opportunity to sing as many versions of the rhyme as children and staff could think of, as well as spend some time looking closely at the river and the plants and animals that they could see.
