Last week in their Understanding of the World lesson, Reception Class were investigating floating and sinking. They explored what happens to different fruits and vegetables when you put them in water and whether it makes a difference if they are peeled or sliced, or put in whole. They found out that orange segments sink but orange peel and whole orange float!
