Reception Class thoroughly enjoyed the annual EYFS music festival at Badsey First School. This year the theme was ‘To Infinity and Beyond!’. To add to the excitement, the children were able to dress up in space-related costumes!

The children sang songs that they had been learning with Mr Johnson, alongside taking part in a wide range of musical activities, such as listening and moving to scary and exciting classical space-themed music, creating a soundscape of a journey through space (using a piece of newspaper and using our handmade shakers to add sound effects) and singing a shared alien song.

Thank you to Severn Arts for providing this wonderful opportunity, Mr Johnson for teaching the songs and to Badsey First School for hosting the event.
