Reception Class took their maths learning outside this week. In class they have been working on different ways to make 10. They worked in pairs, or small groups, to gather natural items in Forest School and group them, before looking at how many ways they could make 10, using two or three groups of objects. They were very creative and found lots of different ways!

The class finished off their Forest School session with a bug hunt, to look at the biodiversity of the area and see how many different kinds of minibeasts they could find. The children were amazing at spotting the tiny creatures that make our Forest School area their home, and looked high and low in their search. They were amazed at how many minibeasts they found. Well done Children.
