Reception Class made the most of the beautiful autumn sunshine this afternoon at Forest School. They continued with their focus on Rangoli patterns and how to make them in different shapes: tear-drop, arches and stars.
Afterwards they were given cards with numbers (and pictorial representations of that number) on them, and reinforced their knowledge and understanding of bonds to 5, by finding someone who had the number they needed to add to theirs, to make 5. The importance of the number ‘zero’ was reinforced, when some of the children had the number 5, but still needed to find a partner!
