Last week Reception Class celebrated Chinese New Year by making their own Chinese dragons. They made three dragons and then worked in groups to do Chinese dragon dances in the hall, before parading through the school, while playing percussion instruments. It was a very exciting afternoon for the whole school! 

Afterwards the class enjoyed a Chinese New Year banquet in the classroom, where they practised using chop sticks to eat with (great for fine motor skill development too).
