Our Thursday children took a walk to the War Memorial in Abbey Park, and were amazed at how many poppies we could see. Back home, after a warming hot chocolate, they decorated biscuits with red icing and a chocolate button for the middle. The children decided to offer some to Reception class, and there was even enough to give some to Mrs Williams! We thought about the men and women who had died, and said prayers in church.
