Pre-school Minibeasts

In Pre-school, our youngest children have been enjoying a minibeast-themed week of learning.
The children have been listening to different stories involving minibeasts, and have explored the outside area to search for these wonderful creatures. The children were excited to practise their fine motor skills, using tweezers to pick up small, coloured toy minibeasts and arrange them into the corresponding coloured pots.
For their creative activities, the children chose their own materials to decorate a butterfly or a ladybird. They also used paint and bubble wrap to make a honeycomb pattern, and then cut out their own bee to stick onto it.
There have also been opportunities for children to choose their own learning during minibeast week, with dressing up being a favourite choice!
Well done everyone on a fun-packed week!
