In Pre-school, the younger children have been enjoying a ‘Spring’ themed week of learning.

 

For their creative activity, the children could choose between making a blossom tree or a chick. They used different materials to make their choice of craft. 

 

Later in the week, the children went on a spring walk, looking and listening for the signs of spring. They found different plants growing in the eco garden and listened to the beauty of the birds singing in the trees.

 

They also enjoyed exploring flowers, using their senses and then cutting the flowers to take a closer look inside. They decided that they would like to put the flowers in the water to see if that would make it smell nice.  Everyone has had a lovely time exploring the wonders of Spring!
