At Forest School yesterday, the children in pre-school were exploring how to move the logs. They discovered that if they used a log stick as a lever, they could move much heavier logs! They investigated and found that they could even move the bigger logs when another child was sitting on it!
The children also enjoyed rolling down the hill, and following prepositional instructions to place the birds round the area (in the tree, on a branch, under a tree, behind a log etc).
There was also, of course, time for free choice in their own learning part of the session and hot squash back at Base Camp.
Well done children and thank you Mrs Andrews.
