Welcome to Year 3 Home Learning page!! Next week, beginning Monday 13th July, is the last week of the Summer Term. I have updated our page with resources and activities for you to have a go at throughout the week. Feel free to also use any of these during the Summer holiday, if you would like to. Your Year Four teacher, Mrs Hill, will also be setting you a Summer Holiday challenge - keep your eye out for more information about that.

R.E. You should now have finished the R.E. topic activities about the EUCHARIST. There are other creative projects relating to RE available using purple column. Alternatively, you may wish to complete some research about a different religion (Judaism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism etc.). MATHS: This week, try to complete the activities related to DATA HANDLING (see Mrs Baker's document). There are lots of resources for you to use related to Data Handling in the zipped file using the blue button. Answers to the POWER MATHS data handling activities will be found on the document already on this page. HEAD Start activity booklet page 18 has some activities relating to data handling. MyMaths Activities relating to data handling / times tables have been set and are now available for you to start. I have also included some POWER Maths activities relating to analogue time, if you would like to revise this.

LITERACY and READING: If you have finished the POETRY topic (using similes and metaphors) please begin the creative literacy activities using the “Talk for Writing” text: JUNGLES. There are two other “Talk for Writing” booklets available – “The Dean Stone Trolls” and “The Truth About Trolls”. Please feel free to use these booklets.
READING – 60 Seconds READS for Anglo Saxons and Ancient Egypt are available using the red buttons. Alternatively you could have a go at any of the other 60 reads available below.

Continue to practise times tables, maths basic skills, spellings and reading.
