We had a fantastic day today, showing our school gardens as part of the Pershore Open Gardens event. The children were amazing guides(as always) and the visitors were impressed not only with the gardens, but with the children’s knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm.
There was an impressive array of cakes and biscuits on offer (much appreciated by the visitors), as well as ice creams, lollies, tea, coffee and squash. Huge thanks to everyone who made cakes or biscuits for us, or who donated bought ones. Thank you to our wonderful pupil guides who gave up their afternoon to help. Thanks to Mrs Sanders (who runs Eco Club and co-ordinates the garden) and to all our staff volunteers. Special thanks today to Mrs Quarmby and Mrs Lloyd-Smith, who came to in for a cup of tea and stayed to help us through a very busy couple of hours by serving tea and coffee and/or washing up!
