We prayed the Rosary in the hall this morning to join with Pope Francis’ initiative: one million children praying for unity and peace in solidarity with each other – a great way to live out our Catholic Social Teaching element of ‘Solidarity and the Common Good’.

It was our first time using the new rosary beads which we were able to buy due generous donations from Parishioners for our School Bible appeal, where we raised enough for all of the Bibles we needed, with enough left over to buy a School set of rosary beads. We’d like to say another big thank you to everyone who made a donation. We feel very blessed to be part of such a supportive and welcoming community.
