Five children were drawn from a hat to be present at the opening of the new Aldi store in Pershore. The children met Bryony Page, an Olympic Trampolinist, and watched while she cut the ribbon to open the new store. The children were so well behaved and a credit to our school.

Everyone at Holy Redeemer were then treated to an inspirational assembly by Bryony Page. She talked us through her sporting journey (the highs and the lows) and explained the importance of striving to become the best version of yourself every day. Bryony competed in 3 Olympics, winning a Bronze in Tokyo, Silver in Rio and Gold in Paris. The children really enjoyed the presentation and asked some interesting questions. 

Aldi provided goody bags for the children at the opening and a £20 voucher for the winning entry in the Healthy eating competition. Well done to all of the children who took part in the competition; there is a gift for you all and we will display the posters around school.

Thanks to Bryony Page for an inspirational assembly – we will all try to remember that failure and disappointments are very much part of ultimate success, and will work hard each day to be the very best version of ourselves that we can be.
