This week in Reception Class we have been basing our learning around the story of’ Oliver’s Vegetables’, by Vivian French.
We have planted seeds in our outdoor classroom – fingers crossed we will have our own vegetables to eat! We have also been working on being Go-For-It Gorillas and Exploring Elephants in our classroom using our challenge passports to guide our learning. Some of our challenges have been making benches for Oliver and his Grandpa in the construction area, making baskets for the vegetables on the creation station and developing our fine motor skills on the modelling table, by making vegetables using plasticine. What a busy first week back!
