Welcome to our New Intake page for Reception parents. Below you will find downloadable copies of school forms and paperwork that you will find useful. We would be really grateful if you would download, complete and return all relevant permission/consent forms prior to your children starting school in September. The forms are all in PDF format, but if you would prefer a Word version that you can type in and email back, please contact the office on office@holyredeemer.worcs.sch.uk
We are looking forward to welcoming you and your children into our school community in September. The children return to school on Wednesday 7th September. In order to help the children settle into school, and to avoid them being over-whelmed on their first few days (7th-16th September), the new Reception children should arrive at school at 9am and be dropped off at the front door, where Mrs Barker, and other members of her team, will be there to greet the children and take them down to class. If they are attending Breakfast Club, the children can be dropped at the front door any time from 7:30am. Those children who have older siblings, and who are confident to go into school with them, may come straight in with their sibling/s, who can walk them down to class, where there will be staff to help them find their peg and tray.
From Monday 19th September the children can be dropped at the normal YR/KS1 time of 8:45am, where a member of staff will be there to greet them, and from where they can go straight into school and on into class.
Pick up is at 3:15pm, from the playground. Parents can enter the playground from 3pm and should wait on the side of the playground closest to the grassy bank. Staff will bring the children out onto the other side of the playground and will send the children across to parents once they have seen them.
